The districts in Moldova where most cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours

Today, another 655 cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been confirmed in Moldova. Of this total, more than half are people from the capital.

Chisinau continues to be the most affected region by coronavirus. In second place is Calarasi, with 36 new cases of coronavirus. In Ocnița and Ungheni, 34 and 21 cases of infection were registered, respectively.

In total, within the hospital medical institutions, 3390 patients confirmed with COVID-19 infection are hospitalized, out of which 281 in extremely serious condition (48 patients are connected to assisted breathing devices).

Moldova continues to record alarming figures. 1709 more new cases of COVID-19 infection

Today in the Republic Of Moldova, 1709 more cases of infection with the COVID-19 virus have been confirmed. Therefore, the total balance of infected people reached 119,204 cases.

In the last 24 hours, 3792 tests were performed, of which 3366 primary and 426 repeated. Of the total number of cases, eight are imported, two from Romania, Germany and Ukraine and one each from France and Poland.

At the same time, out of the number of infections, 63 are medical workers, of which, 23 doctors, 29 nurses and 11 people from the auxiliary staff.

In total, 3899 patients confirmed with the new coronavirus are admitted to hospital medical-sanitary institutions. Another 627 people were treated and discharged. In total, 102, 565 people have been treated for COVID-19.

In home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19 there are 8549 people, and 29, 620 are under home supervision.

Today in the Republic Of Moldova, 1570 more cases of infection with the COVID-19 virus have been confirmed. Therefore, the total balance of infected people reached 101,203 cases.

In the last 24 hours, 3968 tests were performed, of which 3549 primary and 419 repeated. Of the total number of cases, six are imported, of which three from Romania and one each from the Czech Republic, France and the Russian Federation.

Of the total number of cases, 96 are medical workers, of which 33 are doctors, 48 are nurses and 15 are auxiliary personnel.

In total, 3501 patients confirmed with the new coronavirus are hospitalized within the hospital medical institutions. Another 1454 people were treated and discharged. In total, 83, 789 people have been treated for COVID-19.

In home treatment with mild forms of COVID-19 there are 4725 people, and 28, 120 are under home supervision.

The Ministry of Health also informs about the registration of 21 more deaths caused by the new coronavirus. The total balance thus reached 2209 deaths.

Another 50 beds for patients hospitalized with COVID-19 will be assigned to The Dermatology and Communicable Diseases Hospital

Another 50 beds will be activated within the hospital of Dermatology and Communicable Diseases, and the authorities are looking for solutions to activate beds in other institutions.

According to the Ministry of Health, municipal and republican institutions are more crowded than district ones, but if necessary patients are redirected to medical institutions where there are free beds.

Also, six units of mobile radiology were purchased and distributed to municipal institutions this week, which are extremely necessary for patients in serious condition.

“The epidemiological situation is unfavorable, both in the Republic of Moldova and worldwide. Medical workers are exhausted and need everyone’s involvement more than ever. I urge you to be vigilant and take care of your health and those around you,” said Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu.

We remind you that the Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Health, Boris Gâlcă, declared on Monday, during the online meeting of the Chisinau municipality services, that the municipal health institutions have reached the maximum treatment capacity of COVID-19.

Moldova broke a new record for COVID-19 virus infections. Today there were 1607 cases

Moldova has broken a new record of covid-19 infections. Today there have been 1607 cases, five of them import and 106 among employees of the medical system.

During 24 hours, 4387 tests were processed, of which 3993 were primary. According to the Ministry of Health, more than 424,000 tests have been performed in Moldova to identify the disease.

At the same time, 1170 people were declared cured. In total, the number of people who have been treated with COVID-19 reaches 74,229. On the other hand, 18 patients lost their battle with the disease, and the number of the deceased reaches 2072.

Our country has exceeded the figure of 92, 000 infections. We currently had over 16,000 active cases of illness.

Chisinau, Transnistria, Edinet, Briceni Glodeni and Donduseni are the most affected regions. Here the incidence of more than 365 cases is recorded in the population of 100, 000, according to the Ministry of Health.
